The aims of the Child Health Association are:

To provide support and care to children of needy families who live in poverty or ignorance

To contribute to the establishment and promotion of preventive and social pediatrics in Turkey and in this way to contribute to a lowering of neonatal, infant and child morbidity and mortality and to enhancement of child health

To contribute to the promotion of pediatrics in Turkey, to support scientific research in this field

To contribute to the training of pediatric nurses, caregivers, social workers and technical personnel, to provide financial support to these students when needed

To organize educational programs for physicians, health workers other than physicians, medical students and laypeople, to invite local or foreign experts for these activities when needed

To publish periodicals, brochures and books on child health and to contribute to the institution of a library on child health
